Brown Pelican in Breeding Plumage
This pelican had essentially the same impression that the dogs have when they don't really want to be petted but think that I might have access to food. Brown pelican (Pelecanus occidentalis). (Really, the coastline does curve away from us there, I swear the horizon isn't tilted.)
