elf1 > When we arrive, it's an amazing coincidence that these five Corvettes all arrived at this otherwise unvisited spot at the same time and all parked together. Compare and contrast to our minivan packed with camping gear.
elf1 > On my way across Highway 17, I stopped briefly at Lexington Reservoir, which is part of Lexington Reservoir County Park. It was hard to find an easy-on, easy-off freeway access, and while I was puzzling it out on this quiet country road, all of a sudden cars began streaming past me, one after another, and then all lined up in a row and stopped on the road ahead. I pulled over to try to puzzle THAT out. I finally figured out that they were all the same type of car, out for--well--an outing, and they were waiting for the others to catch up. But by that time it was too late to snap a close-up of one of the cars.

(I took more photos on my film camera; will post eventually.)
