elf1 > Boost, who hates getting even her feet wet (except when chasing spray from a hose) wouldn't go near the water the first couple of times.
elf1 > Tika dashed joyfully up and down the canyon walls near the stream, in and out of the water. She doesn't look like a water dog to me.
elf1 > Parts of the hike went across or alongside a stream. Dang typical Retrievers couldn't be kept out of the water. Tika loved it, too; got her very excited. Zack frolics.
elf1 > Boost runs. Ren sniffs.
elf1 > The last part of the trail wound around a steep hillside. Didn't faze the dogs at all; they ran ahead and back and even up and down the slopes. They're nuts.
