Basset Hounds also have that jowly shake-head-to-spray-saliva-everywhere look which is less cute, like this tricolor.

This guy has three Bassets. They left ahead of the rest of us so that those short legs got a running start. (At least, that's my theory.)

I tried to capture how sweet and friendly and well-socialized this very cheerful brindle Boxer was, but no, he looks tough and jaded, doesn't he? Photos can lie!

We had quite a crowd of dogs: Three Basset Hounds, one boxer, one probable Border Collie, and Holly the beautiful mixed breed.
