Monterey, California. My sister and bro-in-law were in the mood for a quick dash to Monterey for the afternoon. So, what the heck, I want along. But I had good fun, good company, good food, and some interesting things to snapshot.
In all my decades living in this area, it has only been in recent weeks that I've ever seen weather forecasts with "smoke" as the primary weather pattern. Like today's, on the hotel board. California continues to burn.
