Day 1C Los Banos Park and Museum, Sunset - Page 3

(#4 on the map.) It's nearly 2:00 in the afternoon now, and technically we're still only an hour from home, so we still have 6 hours of driving to do today. So much for having lots of time! Still, we decide to take the more interesting 99 south instead of the barren I-5, which means cutting across on 152 through Los Baños.

elf1 > At the end of our tour, Linda bought one of his books and they posed for the paparazzi. (The book of his that I thought sounded most of interest to me was out of stock.)

elf1 > Then it was 3:30 and still basically 6 hours to go! We drove drove drove, no more photos or stops until dinner (more sandwiches) at this rest area outside Boron just before 8:00 (#6 on the map).
