Monterey Beaches and Aquarium Dec 26 2008 : The day after Christmas was a beautiful day for a drive to the coast, visiting beaches briefly and exploring the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Seven of us in the car: three sisters, three nieces & nephews, and a bro-in-law aka uncle aka husband.

Drive to Monterey July 27 2008 : Monterey, California. My sister and bro-in-law were in the mood for a quick dash to Monterey for the afternoon. So, what the heck, I want along. Turned out to be a cool and overcast day, with enough reflected light to really wash out the sky, but not enough to allow my cheap snapshot camera enough light to focus confidently. But I had good fun, good company, good food, and some interesting things to snapshot.
