Friend Sharon knew what all the birds were and told me, and I promptly forgot. These guys trotted in and out with the waves, checking the sand for morsels.

From San Jose to Ben Lomond for an agility fun match and to briefly visit a hiking friend. To Aptos for a walk on the beach. To Hollister for more agility practice. And home. I started the day taking photos of everything, but that dwindled considerably as the day wore on.
